Adrenal Fatigue

What Causes It

Stress. It’s a constant companion in so many of our lives. But the pressure to hurry up and get things done, to perform under tight deadlines, can take a toll on the body, including the adrenal glands. Under prolonged stress, cortisol, aldosterone, and other metabolic-regulating hormones produced by the adrenals drop to very low levels. This creates a condition referred to as adrenal fatigue. Clients feel an overall sense of malaise and low energy, sometimes without any other symptoms of illness.

How We Treat It

Fatigue is a symptom of many medical conditions besides adrenal fatigue. In order to connect causation and condition, we perform lab tests that specifically measure levels of adrenal hormones in the blood. When deficiencies are identified, adrenal fatigue is treated with a customized supplement regimen to replace these vital hormones. Lifestyle coaching is also part of the treatment protocol, to help you reduce and better manage stress in your daily routine.

This Condition is treated through the Hall Core Program. Consultation visits may focus on this issue along with other health concerns.
