Why don’t many people heal?
Why don’t so many seem to be able to get a handle on their health?
Most people struggle with their health because they simply don’t have a foundational understanding of what health really is. They may have an idea about what it is, but were never really educated and shown what the essence of health is. Where in our educational career did we learn what health is? Maybe you took a health ed. class or a class on nutrition; but those kinds of classes, though informative, only support you to be healthy (hopefully). But where was it taught about what health actually is?
Take a moment and ponder that?
“What is health?”
“How do I understand health?”
Many feel health is just about feeling good. But that is just a piece of the pie, or even more accurately a by-product, or a symptom of health if you will.
Health is an expression of being consciously connected to the source of who you are. It is an openness to who you really are, not who you think you are. It is a sensory, tangible and qualitative experience that is a direct expression of your connection to your essential self and “where you come from”. It is radiance… That is why pregnant women glow. They are so closely and dearly in touch with their Source, the Source of Life – with creation – the expression of the miracle of life is clearly alive within them. It is also so evident with people in love. You can see and sense an aura about them. They have opened or been opened to the light of Love through their connection.
When you experience who you truly are something magical and powerful happens. Literally a light comes on from within, or more accurately, the living light that has already been there becomes visible / realized. I have witnessed people become brighter from making a deeper connection. It is not something you can fake … and my God why would you?
But that is the challenge. People have an idea of what health is and what is looks like, but fail to go deep enough to excavate the hidden jewel of their innate well being – the ecstatic joy of their own soul!
If you are struggling with an aspect of your health that seems chronic (recurring), the reality is that you haven’t gone deep enough within yourself. You haven’t excavated the root of the condition. Chronic conditions are clear examples of what is known as patterning. A pattern is a recurring of an issue that is looking to be healed, but has not been “uprooted”. Only the symptoms (the more superficial layers) have been treated.
As I shared before, healing is not just about feeling better, or good, or great for that matter. It is about growing in deeper connection with who you truly are, to be in harmony with your inner nature and seamlessly contributing / expressing the gifts of who you are with the world in a beneficial, meaningful, sustainable and life enhancing way.
So how do we heal?
Maybe you have heard the saying, “If you do what you have always have done, you will get what you always have gotten”. How have you been living? Where you put your attention, how you think, how much you think, what you think about, what you feel, what you’ve suppressed, what you do, what you don’t do (avoid), all contribute to your health and well being. If you want to make a change, you have to “do” something differently. And sometimes the doing is a not doing! We will continue to explore this on-goingly in each new edition of the newsletter…
The golden key is that it all starts with you. Having a willingness to journey within yourself and explore the essence of who you are and where you come from. I have supported thousands of people out of their suffering by simply helping them to clarify experientially who they are. As one of my teachers has shared, [the problem is that] “people don’t understand the condition in which they find themselves.”
Miracles of healing happen when you are willing to take that courageous step and enter the inner world of your own being and examine your consciousness - to engage, unravel and liberate the astonishing light of your own radiant health, and awaken to the brilliance that you already are.
