Kevin Kelly, MD
Dr. Kevin Kelly is a radiologist, specializing in breast imaging for 30 years, both at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, and for the last 15 years, at the Hill Breast Center in Pasadena. During his many years of breast imaging, Dr. Kelly realized that as many as 40% of all mammograms were performed on women with dense breast. In this group of women, mammography misses a full 50% of all breast cancer. In his efforts to detect these missed cancers, he invented the SonoCine, which incorporates MRI technology and ultrasound together, finding twice as many cancers as mammography alone.
Dr Kelly has moved his practice to The Hall Center, where women will benefit from the SonoCine exam, as well as his private consults. His consults are individualized to your needs, and may include a discussion of any abnormalities on your SonoCine, second opinions on prior mammograms, ultrasound and MRIs, and advice on how to proceed in the face of breast cancer. When indicated, he also performs breast and thyroid biopsies in about five minutes, without exposing you to pain or radiation. With tens of thousands of grateful patients, Dr. Kelly is a woman’s best partner for breast health.
